Duma Lake is the largest lake on the island of Halmahera and its located 25 km to north from Tobelo. Duma offers beautiful natural scenery and natural. The water was clear and calm making it suitable for swimming, fishing and boating. Beside that, Duma have important historical value as the first place where the Gospel entry to the island of Halmahera, performed by Dutch missionaries, Van Dyken in about the year 1816.
Not far from this place there is also a Lake Makete and Ngidiho with a smaller size.
